The recycled polyester or polyamide materials often degrade seriously by many times shearing or thermal history, which leads to broad molecular weight distribution. Eco-BatchTM has a high concentration of epoxy groups, which can react with the terminal groups of the recycled polyester or polyamide to prevent further degradation, increasing the melt viscosity and improving processing stability.
PBAT, PLA, PBS
Biodegradable materials contain lots of –COOH and –OH, which can promote degradation in the condition of heat or shear. The epoxy groups in Bio-MasterTM can react with –COOH and –OH, restrain degradation. Meanwhile, Bio-MasterTM can act as chain extender because one Bio-MasterTM molecule contains numbers of epoxy groups.
