Recently, Fine-Blend’s R&D team tackled the limitations of traditional silane coupling agents by developing BP-306G, a new epoxy-functional coupling agent capable of forming covalent bonds with ABS/GF or SAN/GF composites, significantly boosting the interfacial strength between organic and inorganic phases.
Reaction Mechanism: In-situ Compatibilization
The epoxy groups of BP-306G react with hydroxyl and amino groups on the glass-fiber surface, achieving coupling, wetting, and encapsulation to yield high-performance composites.
