From November 12-14, 2024, Fine-Blend participated in the 2024 advanced Olefin Polymer Industry Forum organized by Beijing Guohua New Materials Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. The forum discussed hot topics in the polyolefin field, including polyolefin elastomers/plastics (POE/POP), cyclic olefin polymers (COC/COP), metallocene/non-metallocene catalyzed polymers and catalysts, new olefin copolymers, hyperbranched polymers, functionalized polyolefins, special polyolefin materials for specific fields, α-olefin downstream fine chemicals, and other advanced product technologies and market development.

      The focus was on three main themes: 'High-Performance General Polyolefins,' 'Development and Application of Novel Olefin Polymers/Copolymers,' and 'Development of Linear α-Olefins and Downstream Advanced Fine Chemicals.' As an intermediate link in plastic modification, Fine-Blend provided corresponding solutions for the development and application of olefin polymers—the preparation and application of maleic anhydride compounded POE grafts.

     Currently, Fine-Blend has developed POE graft products including FB521A, FB522, FB523A, and FB593. Applications include: 1) Nylon conventional toughening agents, super toughening agents, and low-temperature modification toughening agents; 2) Efficient toughening agents for flame-retardant reinforced nylon materials; 3) Adhesion promoters for polyolefin resins; 4) Macromolecular coupling agents for HFFR wire and cable. There are options available for both high-fluidity nylon toughening modifiers and cost-effective nylon toughening modifiers, as well as high-efficiency nylon toughening modifiers."
